Lewis says there's a level of human suffering that's kind of like baked into existence. We shouldn't expect to get rid of all poverty in this world, that kind of thing. He sort of talks about there's paradoxes that are baked in. And so we sort of created this situation for ourselves, we made our bed and now we have the lionic kind of situation.
