Wages are growing in nominal terms but the amount of stuff that those dollars can purchase has gone down so basically wage growth has not kept up with the rising cost of living and this has been going on for over a year now in the United States. Laura wants to talk about transparency of salaries should you share with your coworkers what you make? Scott says it feels like the country's off the rails when you consider how fast it all happened. Catherine: The solution is mostly involving the Fed raising rates but there are things that I do think that the president in Congress could be doing to take some pressure.
