I like to watch the equity only put the call ratio because the index tends to be a lot of hedge ranging with people with big portfolios. So along the way up, I've noticed recently there has been a lot of call buying. And that could be a shorter term signal for a little pullback. But when they really spike into the puts that's usually around a day or two of the low. You just have to wait for it.
