Introduction

This week, we hear from one organization whose mission is to prevent and reduce pollution in California. We bring you the experience of one little girl in a neighborhood with high asthma rates and other health challenges. On certain California maps, there's a swath of downtown Vallejo shaped like a trapezoid. High asthma rates, low birth weights and poverty related stressors contribute to those poor health outcomes.
