Is It a Career Definitive Moment for You?
I know a lot of teachers and people that work in that youth space, they will still message them because they're like the second dad or the second mum. When they needed someone, they might not feel comfortable talking to their parent or their sport coach. Quite often you fall back to a teacher or someone in that school space. That was a really career defining moment for me that this is something that I'm doing the right thing. I'm helping the kids out along the way. Things where you return athletes in particular work a lot with Alana Kennedy through multiple surgeries. For her, any time she's back here in Australia, she picks up the phone, she remembers kids' birthdays
