The Importance of Equity in Community Organizations
Margaret Hoover: Race seems like the perfect way of making it difficult for people to see that they're all part of a community of fate. She says race need not be a barrier any more than rural urban divides, which are an equally big divide these days and need to be divides. Hoover: What we need is community organizations, cross-racial organizations,. organizations that find people's common interest, they're common sources of oppression, and fight them together.
