The First Amendment and Free Speech in the Case of Back Page
The government filed a motion asking that the defense not be allowed to mention the First Amendment or free speech in front of a jury. They also asked for that there was a series of, I think, nine different motions and they all sought to preclude different lines of defense. The judge did rule in late July on these motions and granted most of them. And as far as you know, the trial is moving forward.
