Introduction

Adam Galestell is head of the Americas for GIC Real Estate and a member of GIC's Global Investment Committee. GIC is the sovereign wealth fund for the government of Singapore, one of the largest and most active real estate investors in the world. My conversation with Adam occurred in October 2020, just days before the US presidential election. We jump right in with Adam's story of how he found his way into the world of real estate and his path to GIC.
