Onshoring - Is There a Skill Gap?
McKinsey have written many pieces about onshoring and one of them was entitled Global Businesses Coming Home. For a lot of your clients whilst that's a necessity, it does presuppose there are sufficient skills in the near geography if you are onshoring. How are your clients thinking about that skill gap? One is some of them are global organisations so they may have those skills but elsewhere in the world and maybe they can move them or those colleagues can help train up the next folks in another geography. Second I think we will see universities and training providers having to evolve what they offer far and fast.
