John, I don't want you to just sort of discarding monastic life as if there's nothing for us to learn from it. There's a lot of much that the church could gain from your life with God. Mutual love and confidence are the keys to intimacy. It would seem that admission to the inner circle of deepening intimacy with God is the outcome of deep desire. And only those who count such intimacy, a prize worth sacrificing anything else for, are likely to attain it.
