The Incredible Shrinking Man

Back in the 1970s you could buy 200 foot and 400 foot condensed versions of movies. Most people saw these films at the slow lethargic silent speed of 18 frames per second as they did not have sound equipment. These reels usually contained the most exciting action scenes with just enough context to sometimes guess what the movie was about. Daniel says dear Robin Joe I listened with interest to your weird house cinema episode on The Incredible Shrinking Man. This brought up many nostalgic memories for me as I had this film along with It Came From Outer Space and many others on 200 and 400foot condensed 8 millimeter film and some full-length feature movies on 16 millimeter sound.
