I grew up in a suburb where everyone's parents were lawyers doctors teachers. That's one of the things so funny about that college admissions scandal, right? Like these were all extremely rich extremely powerful families most of whom had become extraordinarily successful through untraditional paths. They are like if you're a billionaire hedge fund manager What kind of advantage is networking wise? Do you think your kid is going to get at harvard like You can just introduce them to those people from your own life like the whole thing Just it struck me as such a a weird commentary on how humans Can abandon the very thing that made them successful in the first place Well, it goes back to again our wiring.
