The biblical narrative, the biblical rat narrative, is raded as a means of finding spiritual morals for a personal life. The gospel screams that you can't live helen wealthy in this context. As the horizon of life is narrowed to our fulfilment, scripture becomes a commodity to support this process. Commodification is the reduction of our horizons to the consumption of good experiences.
