A personal robot is a robot that anybody can program and instruct. Right now, most of the robots are industrial robots which require PhDs to programme. But advances in perception, cameras, AI have all converged to make this possible. In 10 years, people will be able to put their own recipes on it like they did with PCs. This means these robots will be cheaper than even Chinese and Asian laborers.
