Is There a Difference Between Empathy and Deep Acting?
There are some doctors who can perform empathy so well that it actually is patients do respond really well to those doctors. Some people have ali this to a surface acting and deep acting. Surface acting is where you don't feel the emotions, or even a taste of the emotions of the patient. Deep acting in which actors actually feel the emotions. I i would disagree. Patients are highly sensitive to when a doctor cares about them as to whether they're being authentic or not. So i'm not sure that er faking it is actually going to fool many patients.
