The book is a little unique in Austin in terms of like how close the narrative voice is to Anne. So all of the character sketches that we get are pretty tight to Anne's perception of who these people are. And her older sister Elizabeth is kind of she would not go so far as to say she's like the matron of the family because she is also unmarried. She's older than Anne is and is helping her father Sir Walter Elliot who's a bit of a he's a idiot.
