How to Deal With Personal Motivation When Investment Performance Is Not Your Friend

Personal motivation is no problem at all that. Some version of it's okay to fail but make sure you fail thoughtfully and we will embrace thoughtful failure, which I think is reasonably profound. All volatility means more things won't work - if we stop taking risks then for sure we're not going to get anywhere near meeting our mandate or adding the kind of value that we want to add.
