DHCP - What Is Your Source?
The client, the source still doesn't trust. He says, you know what? You're full of BS DHCP. So here at the client, it didn't trust that this is its IP address yet. Why? Because it needs to check if someone else might have gotten this IP while it receives this message. It's basic database 101, kind of situation, right? 000 is my source. The distinction is still everybody is still talking to everybody. But I want to look at the frame level. Even at the frame, we're sending the frame as a broadcast. We're making an offer, I'm making a request. This is aDHCP request for everybody.
