Roboticist Carmel Magidi, the work and videos were published online at the journal matter. An adult echidna weighs three to five kilos in my study site. So they're not tiny. And they have a long paddle-like nose. It's more cylindrical. They use that to probe into the ground and into rotting wood to seek their ants and termite food.
