When we started working in Latin America, we only had a cage free campaigns and then it was challenging to recruit activists. Many of them wouldn't agree with these campaigns to start with or they would say, you know, it's fine. You can try to reduce suffering, but what about consumption? When are you going to start telling people to stop eating animals? So that was the initial idea. And we did see a positive reaction when we started working more with vegan challenges and engaging our community of volunteers and activists in the challenges as well.
