The Most Important Thing We Can Do for Trans Youth
The most important thing we can do for these kids is to believe them. If they are who they say there are, they are. They're not going to change their minds. What you say or do, good or bad, against that is not going to changed their mind. I i can't make someone be transgenter am. Gay people can't make straight people homo sexual am and vice versa. Just one supporting adult in their life greatly improves their chances for living. It lowers their suicide rates by over forty %. So believe who they are. Everything you can to love and support them.
