The underlying technology for podcasting is actually quite old. When you hear your voice every week on repeat while you're editing for three hours, you sort of lose your desensitized to that. The victories for me were hearing from actual listeners that it impacted their personal and professional life. I've had people write me and tell me they've decided to go to law school because they started listening.
