Carlisle: There's just so much going on for shrimpers. Carlisle: The biggest problem stems from the way shrimp is grown in farms. He says often that occurs in very confined conditions, which can lead to high rates of disease. What happens is that farmers basically are treating their seafood with various types of drugs, such as antibiotics,. It ain't better to go buy this peeled shrimp and go home and cook it. But you don't know where it's from. And then there's another layer if that's not enough.
