The Importance of User Experience in Tools
Change aversion is the notion that like anytime you change something people are gonna be of you know a verse or have negative feelings about it just because it's different. I think for tools as well especially like tools that developers use a lot even small changes to UIs or the API of it can have like massive effects and they're generally not accounted for by businesses well enough. There's a bit of a perverse incentive to keep driving innovation and change forward especially for software that doesn't have a subscription model.
