Ellie had made a garage band demo in which she just clicked on arpeggiators. I was messing around with melodies and realized I had so much to say that I wasn't going to be able to fit it in to any melody. Joff had the task of playing all the synth parts by his guitar. He's really good at making sounds with his guitar that don't sound like the guitar. And he had this new guitar pedal that sounds like an anime character. So we just hit record and everyone could play live. For me, the second demo, I was excited because it's cool to try and recreate it. But I always think a true test of a song is
