The Importance of Forgiveness

In a traditional Anglican service, Thomas Cranmer said that when people confess their sins in church they need to receive five absolutions because nobody's going to believe it. So I think it's something that we cope with over a lifetime. One of the most beautiful illustrations of forgiveness I've actually discovered in an HBO show that I'm totally obsessed with is called The New Pope.
