CKD Treatment - ACE Inhibitors and ARBs
Ace inhibitors and ARBs are the preferred anti-apartensive agents in this population. With respect to diet, a limit of less than two grams of salt per day is suggested. Hyperphosphatemia should be corrected with medical management whenever possible. In severe hyperparathyroidism, patients should be referred for tertiary dialysis or conservative care.
