Michel picot, who started the charity friends of notre dame de paris nd led the restoration. He says this includes rebuilding a spire identical to the one designed in the nineteenth century which collapsed back in 20 19. While the target date to reopen the cathedral is 20 24, michel says the work will be far from over.
