Nick had a very close brush with death in 1970, but it doesn't make him wonder if there's higher powers at work. At age 14 he started to experiment with meditation and got some pretty crazy feelings during the practice. He also used Ouija boards when he was about 14 or 15 years old. The last experience that my parents gave me was on an Ouija board around 40 years ago. And I can still recall this clearly now, so all of this is sort of off-of-a-crowd stuff? It seems like something you just don't accept anymore.
