The most loving thing you can do is teach the truth. And not apologize, he says. That firmness, that adamant, harder than flint, that's what we have to do. He would see it as unloving to back down. The Lord says, I'm going to make you as tough as them. But at the same time be gentle with yourself and stand up for your convictions.
