I'm more of a, you could call me a radical incrementalist. If you want to aim towards the final goal of defund or abolish or limit the footprint of policing, part of it is having fewer contacts. The LA LA's police union in March came out with a statement that said, we don't want to be responding to people in mental health crisis. We don't wants to respond to homeless people who are peeing on the street. And great. You know, we let let's fund other programs, other people who don't have guns to do those things.
