The Limits of Carbon Capture
I think two is the floor. Not the ceiling. I know everyone wants one and a half. There is one way to make us go below two. The IPCC assumes that we're going to use something called BECCS, bioenergy and carbon capture and sequestration. That might work but it uses up a lot of land. Our energy system is larger than our biosphere.
