The History of Epilepsy
The main chunk of what we're going to be talking about today is epilepsy. It's a common neurological disorder which anyone who works in emergency care will be familiar with the Siesia related elements to it. In the UK, there's approximately half a million people and worldwide, this would equate to roughly 65 million people living with this condition. We don't get an accurate reflection of how much of a health related burden this condition actually is.
