Leading by example is not the same thing as a predictive indicator. Predictive means the leads will get me the lag. Influentable means I can get my hands on it. What we tell leaders to do is don't look at your existing data set and figure out all the lead lag relationships. They're all over the place. You'll just hurt yourself.
