How to Prepare to Read a Book

The next step is preparing to read. I typically go the route of picking books that will help me learn a new skill or solve a problem in my life, or just explore an interest. Once that's clear, i select the book and i understand why i'm reading it. And that's just super powerful, because it guides the lens through which you read it.
