Jay Parini says he doesn't like donuts as much as a lot of people like them. The Krispy Kreme Donut is, he thinks, engineering feet. It's flaky and airy and that beautiful glaze. But the actual doughnut itself crumbles to nothing when cut in half. James: I just think it's pushing things too far. He'll be fair with MP - she really enjoys getting her rights out of me.
