Octavian and Antony - A Gait, Isn't He?
Antony didn't get any sort of response from Octavian, Cleopatra did. He secretly sent word that if she would kill Antony, he would grant her pardon and leave her realm unharmed. I guess it's a kind of divide and rule attempt. And also he wouldn't have to kill Antony then. It will seed suspicion between them even if she doesn't bite.
