The Spring Ploughing of Faith and Compassion

I see no plowh tell me what kind of ploughing is it that you do? And the buddha replied, faith is my seed and composure the rain. Compassion is my guide pole and my heart and mind is the harness. I use truth to weed and cultivate release. Wise effort is my oxen, drawing the plough steadily toward freedom without regret. This is how i plough, and it bears the fruit of deathlessness. Whoever ploughs in this way will be come free of all sorrow and distress.
