The History of the Transfer of Power

i feel like when we look at the history of our transfer of power, what we'd forget very easily is that much of the sweeping changes were just done by a handful of men. I mean, the independence o indian independence, for instance, was actually essentially the work of four men who had to basically reconstruct three and a half centuries of british rule in a matter of weeks. So, you know, i mean, it's very easy to sort of overlook that, and it's easy to let civil sovereigns as e entire class sort of slide under the redar. It's one of the reasons why i wrote this story.
