The Monster Movie: A Masterclass in Marketing

This is just a remarkable piece of quote unquote found footage filmmaking, although it's basically happening in real time as you go through this city. Lizzy Kaplan is in this movie briefly, but for the most part, it's just a great monster movie. There was just that remarkable thing where they cut the teaser trailer and put it in front of Transformers before the film was made. And so they created like an awareness of it so early on such a big movie. It was so amazing. The movie is good. Like it has it. I rewatched it ahead of the Batman. Yeah. You can only imagine what that would have been like to kind of document in that nascent era
