Byzantium - A New Capital for Constantine

Constantine built byzantium to be immune to siege. The ancient greek city was surrounded on three sides by water. This meant that a hostile land army could approach from one direction, and one direction only. Con tin planned for the city to be the greatest in the empire  and laid the boundaries in the grid lines accordingly. But by no means became constantinople overnight.
