The Cruel Sword of Judgment
The Bible often associates judgment with a sword. We think we use this sort of judgment to mow down our enemies and then we feel better about ourselves, but he's saying you hold it against your own throat. So that is senseless behavior. It makes no sense because there's no actual enemy. Every time you feel the stab of anger every time you're judging someone else to think about that sword that's over your head, not theirs.
