I don't really see that necessarily changing anytime soon. The whole thing is the world that I would like to get into more, but I just am writing TypeScript right now. And also there's the whole conversation to be had of what about the TypeScript as comments proposal for JavaScript and how does that fit in here. But again, it's something to think about. Like are you going to stop writing TypeScript? My answer is absolutely not.
In this episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott use the fact that Svelte is being converted from TypeScript to JavaScript with JSDoc to talk about the benefits of working that way, why they are doing it, and what you can do with JSDoc that TypeScript alone doesn’t let you do.
