The Dangers of Our Polarized Politics
i went to hungary in 20 18 on a recording trip to cover the steat of democracy thereand when i was on my way, i expected to ind a democracy that was in trouble. And what i found when i got there on the ground was a democracy that had, for all intense and purpose, dide the government. To the pointwhert it's nearly impossible for the opposition to win an actual election, because the deck is so stacked against them. Sometimes these power grabs done mer just through these little tweaks of laws, and sometimes through things a hat really, if anyone were paying attention, could be quite alarming.
