There was a 34% higher prevalence of lumber spine osteoporosis in the highest quartile of sodium excretion compared to the lowest. And this was observed in women that actually had normal bone health status or osteopenia, but it wasn't observed in men. The major limitation for the study was that spot urine samples were used to estimate sodium. So there's scope here for measurement error to be influencing the findings.
