The Threat to the Faith Power Structure

When Jesus kicked off his walking tour of Judea, he began by saying things like I've come to fulfill the law in the prophets and when I do, they will disappear. He said things like Moses was wrong about who God is because God brings rain in the just and the unjust. And that's why you should love your enemies as God does. When Jesus says things like give to Caesar, what belongs to Caesar, which really in that context was just his taxes, a small percentage of the money that was collected every year in taxes, but give God what belongs to God, which is by implication, everything.
