I thought there was an opportunity where Lucas could have been a little more interested in Lana and not very professional the way Lex has been with Lana. I always feel like characters are more interesting when they don't fall into what's written. Yeah, it could have been fun if you had found him and he wasn't such a rogue or a rakish sort of fella. But then again, for television, yeah, how excited would that have been to watch? They made him James Bond in the opening scene.
