"I think I share this with every immigrant and people that has lost persons in their lives," he says. The film is about Cortes' life as an undocumented immigrant living in Los Angeles, working on his first feature-length project. It's set against backdrop of bodies piled high by police officers who are trying to stop him from committing suicide.
