Pregnancy Medications - Is There a Risk?
The general rule of thumb surrounding medications pregnancy is really individualizing that risk benefit. So in this patient's case, if she's unsearchling for anxiety, i'd first want to make an how long has she been on that medication? How well is her anxiety controlled? If it's been, you know, six months or longer since she's had really any symptoms, and she's super well controlled, we could discuss maybe a taper off that medication. Another scenario is if, you know,. she's still quite anxious and actually needs like, a dose up ti, for example. And then in terms of the safety profile, generally s s r s are safe to use in pregnancy
