O p means original poster, the person who originally made the post. So the o p gave the example of using zebra crossing. Now, this one i find so funny because it's so relatable for me. In the u k, you have to stop. If there is a person waiting to cross, you must stop. That's the rules. And yet, crossing can feel very, very awkward. You know, its i've never really thought about it consciously, but i am aware that i do that sometimes. Let me know if you think it's just a british thing, or maybe just a michael thing.
